Best Dessert in the World

Best Dessert in the World

No kidding. My friends fight with their kids for it, my family finishes plate after plate and my boyfriend steals the little balls from my fridge when I’m not looking. I don’t know what to call this dessert because it’s a mix of a few recipes. I think I’ll stick with Chocolate Balls for now.

 This is what you need:

2 ripe bananas, mashed
10-15 dried dates, pitted and chopped
1/4 cup raisins
1 cup peanut butter (organic, necessarily!)
1 cup unsweetened organic cocoa
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1/4 cup brazil nuts, chopped
1/2 cup coconut meat or flakes (the unsweetened kind)
2 tablespoons honey (or more if you like. Could be replaced with agave or maple syrup)
juice and zest from one lemon
1 or 2 table spoons of coconut oil
vanilla, a touch of cardamom, a pinch of salt

Stir all the ingredients together really really well and put in the fridge for about 2 hours. After that, shape into balls and roll in coconut flakes, sesame seeds, slivered almonds. Rolling them in cocoa and matcha powder also works but I ran out of them this time. Enjoy and share the sweetness!

They are good and we truly fight for them! Too bad Anda did not served them two days ago! Instead we’ve had a delicious durian!::))
